HRC Engineers has gone by this name since 20XX. Previously the company was known as Hughes-
Ray Associates.
But many current clients and associates may not know that neither of these names were the firm’s first.
The current organization was originally known as Hughes Surveying, a Douglasville, Georgia-based company founded in XXXX by Clifford Hughes.
Hughes-Ray became the firm name in 20XX after Howard B. Ray, PE, joined forces with Cliff,
creating a company with a broader range of services to best serve land developers and local, state,
and community governments, and to partner with architects, as well as other civil engineers and
landscape architects, to compliment and/or augment services needed to meet client/constituency
needs.
Today HRC Engineers, with two offices in the Atlanta area (Douglasville and Sandy Springs) and one in South Carolina (Charleston area), offers a range of services including civil engineering, landscape architecture, land surveying, and builder services.
